About the event
From Script to Store: An Insider's Guide to Launching an Original Comic Series
In this special guest seminar from the Creators at Comicsburgh, learn the ins and outs of starting an original comic series, with a focus on the entrepreneurship and collaboration behind comic book creation. The creators demystify the creative process, showing how comic books evolve from an idea, into a script, and through each stage of artistic development, from layouts to pencils to final book design. This workshop offers a high-level overview of a comic's developmental process, along with space for individual questions and resources to help advance your project.
Featuring Guest Creators from Comicsburgh: Grant Lankard (Beowulf and Memoirs of the Morbid) and Marvin Wynn (The Edge)
