About the event
Incubator Productions is back this Summer with The Labs Summer Intensive at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh!
In this 3 day (July 30 – August 1) workshop presented by Incubator Productions, teens will learn the collaborative process for comic book production and create a draft pitch package for an original comic series. The workshop is open to teens with a variety of interests including drawing, writing, and business management. Teens will learn the creative process for comic book art using both traditional and digital tools. This intensive will take place over the course of 3 days (July 30 – August 1) and last 2 hours each day with optional one-on-one time for participants to work with the instructor after the two-hour instruction block.
The course will be taught by the award-winning teaching cartoonist Geoff Munn of Pocket Science Studios. You can learn more about him here.
