About the event
The Mobile Cartoon! Museum Presents: Contemporary Comics: Why Archives Aren't Just for History
Presented by Incubator Productions' Archivist in Residence and Director of the MCM, Carina Stopenski.
When we think of museums and archives, our minds usually go to old relics of the past, but that’s only a fraction of what archives can hold. Join us for an MCM that will highlight 21st century work alongside our general collection. We'll be sharing rare and hard-to-find books and comic books, original production art, and contemporary works of cartooning history. You will have a chance to learn more of not only cartooning history, but take a deeper look in the art and science of archival management.
